amazing blessings:

good morning everyone!! this is going to be a very praise worthy post!! i can't believe how amazing God is, everyday!! i mean i know that he's amazing but i didn't know that he could bless us so much!! yesterday was a huge success for crossroads christian church: we had 73 people at worship service!! our biggest attendecne since meeting in the school; with the exception of friends day 2008 and easter sunrise service!!

in other news we'd like to invite all of you to join us saturday, april 4th for the first ever crossroads spring fest!!! this is a free community event sponsored by crossroads christian church, chick-fil-a (port orange), and z88.3!! the radio station will be broadcasting live from our event!!! so mark your calendars and join us from 10:00-1:00 for a wonderful time!! his hands puppets will be performing, we'll have face painting, a petting zoo, and bounce slide, and wrap up the event with an easter egg hunt!!! you can purchase lunch from chick-fil-a. we're praying that you and your family will be blessed by the event and look forward to seeing you there!!!

God is your BFF

Happy Valentines Day: I hope that everyone had a great weekend!! This past week we learned that love does no wrong to others (Romans 13:10) We also got to talk about friends in Children's Church: this week show your friends God's love by doing them no wrong.

...ok, I must admit I never referred to anybody as my "BFF" growing up, but theses days it's all I hear. As I sit back and think of all the people that I've ever called a best friend I can honestly say that I've lost touch with a few of them. But today we learned that God is our BFF. I've never lost Him!! Sometimes we might get busy and caught up in something other than focusing on God, but He's never stopped: and never will!! He is our BEST FRIEND FOREVER!!! So if you have a best friend who doesn't know about your BEST FRIEND FOREVER, Jesus. This week would be a great time to tell them about Him!!

Remember that we have Bible study this Wednesday: dinner at 6:00PM. I look forward to seeing you there!!

God Always Sticks with Me!

It's so amazing to know that even when we feel all alone-we're not!! We learned that no matter where we go or where we are God is Always with Us!! Remember that you can always turn to God for help; but he's only going to help you with things that are right and honoring to Him!! He'll never say he's not there or that he doesn't have enough time. Come find out more on Wednesday night as we see who God stayed with while he helped them through a big hurdle!!
